About us

Dear Reader,

We are pleased to introduce you to Modern Times, a young publishing house founded in February 2020.

Modern Times edizioni was born out of the desire to offer works and books that speak about literature, cinema and theatre and that contribute to a deeper reflection on our time.

Driven by the idea of breaking down barriers between genres, we want to give space to different artistic expressions that range from the word to the image (poetry, fiction, drama, graphic novels and comics).

As we are not only passionate about books and literature, but also about film and theatre, we have founded a film production company and a theatre association.

Modern Times edizioni also aims to discover and propose works from languages that are little translated and literatures that are little present on the Italian publishing scene. We are convinced that these foreign, distant and different visions from our own can give us a precious opportunity to be surprised and thus to reflect on our varied realities, on our modernity.

Our hope is that our publications will contribute to a greater understanding of the world in which we live.
